OBJECTIVES

The Bachelor of Public Administration program offers a rigorous and multifaceted

exploration of leadership, governance, economics, and technology within the context

of public service. Through a blend of theoretical inquiry and practical application,

students will delve into historical developments and contemporary challenges facing

public administration. Key areas of study include leadership theories, policy

analysis, organizational sociology, and the ethical dimensions of governance.

Students will gain a deep understanding of diverse governance structures, the role of

technology in modern administration, and the intricacies of public policymaking.

Emphasis is placed on fostering critical thinking skills, effective communication

strategies, and an ethical approach to decision-making. Graduates will be equipped

with the knowledge and competencies necessary to navigate complex organizational

dynamics, drive positive change, and lead with integrity in diverse public sector

environments.

ENTRY CRITERIA

- Successful Completion of Higher Secondary Education

OR

- Attainment of a Level 4 qualification in a related field

OR

- Attainment of a Level 4 Foundation Study Program approved for the specific Diploma program.  

ALTERNATIVE CRITERIA

- 20 years old, completion of a Level 4 qualification (unrelated), and successful completion of an MQA approved University Preparation Program

OR

- 20 years old, completion of secondary school, 2 years of relevant work experience, and successful completion of an MQA approved University Preparation Program
