The course is designed as to developed positive attitude towards children with SEN and persons with disability in the local and global community.
To attain the skills required to identify children who are at risk for developing a special need based on standard checklists.
It prepares the students with necessary skill for curriculum adaptation techniques to content, process, product and learning environment of a lesson based on the learner’s needs.
Reflective skills to critically analyze classroom practices for children with SEN.
Skills to develop an individual education plan for a child with SEN.
Skills to design an individualized learning program for a case study base on the learning needs of the child
Successful completion of Lower Secondary Education
OR
Attainment
of a Level 3 qualification.
18 years old and 1 year work experience
AND
Ability to communicate in the language of instruction.
