OBJECTIVES
Graphic Design and Digital designs program course work focuses on the visual literacy development of conceptual, aesthetic, and visualization skills and creative problem-solving. Students gain proficiency in traditional and computer design skills. Graphic and Digital Design classes emphasize design and creativity while providing intensive technical training and must know the current technologies and be aware of the rapidly changing image market. The professional certificate program includes digital design, Design and visualization fundamentals, typography and the color theory, logo design, page layout and magazine layout, and poster design. Students can build on the Professional foundation with additional graphic design courses in print design, brand identity, or other concentration areas with classes in print production, advanced typography, packaging design, and more.
