Goals of the Programme
- This course is designed for the students who prefer to master in the Information
Technology field. This program will expose students to self-regulated learning and
make them competent to handle the IT projects on their own.
- Equip students with essential academic skills, including critical analysis, advanced
grammar, note-taking, data interpretation, and proficient academic writing, to ensure
their success in postgraduate studies.
- Foster digital literacy by teaching students to effectively use digital tools and
technologies for academic research, collaboration, data management, and
presentation, while navigating ethical considerations and promoting ecological
awareness.
- Provide students with a strong foundation in statistical concepts and methods,
enabling them to organize, analyze, and interpret data, and apply statistical and
probability principles to real-world scenarios.
- Introduce students to the historical development and strategic role of IT in society
and business, while encouraging them to reflect on past successes and failures to
inform future innovations and address emerging trends in the field.
- Develop students' technical skills in Information Technology, programming
paradigms, software design, debugging techniques, and cybersecurity, preparing
them to design and evaluate effective IT systems and solutions.
- Instill a strong understanding of ethical principles in academic and professional
practices, emphasizing the importance of sustainability, digital responsibility, and the
broader impact of IT on society and the environment.
- Ensure that students are well-prepared for advanced postgraduate studies in
information technology and related fields, and equipped with the knowledge, skills,
and confidence to excel in their professional careers.
- 25 years old, completion of a related Level 5 qualification, and 7 years of relevant
experience (of which 3.5 years of experience is obtained after completion of a Level
5 qualification)

- 25 years old, completion of a related Level 6 qualification, and 6 years of relevant
experience (of which 3 years of experience is obtained after completion of a Level 6
qualification)
