A grand ceremony was held at Kulhudhuffushi Campus on 11th of Sepetember 2015, to mark their second anniversary. Chief Guest of the function was Vice president, Parent Teacher Association of Haa Dhaal Atoll Education Center Mr. Hassan Ali. The function was held at Haa Dhaal Atoll Education center.
The ceremony was attended by the Administrator of the college Mr. Mony Murugadhas, Coordinator of the center Mr. Ahmed Faheem along with the students and teachers of the college.
The ceremony was introduced by the Campus Coordinator Mr. Ahmed Faheem followed Mr. Ahmed Faheem, Chief Guest of the ceremony Mr. Hassan Ali addressed the gathering by giving an inspirational speech appreciating the effort of the college to create a responsible citizen under the theme of “Gaumattaka Thauleem, Thamreen, Tharaggee”. In this regard he highlighted activities such as cleaning program conducted by the college to support the community.
The ceremony was made even more colorful by the photo presentation and delivery of student sentiments in the form of a local poem. Administrator of the college Mr. Mony Murugadhas also gave an inspirational speech.
In the ceremony teachers and staff who have worked in the campus for the past two years were given certificate to appreciate their commitment and effort. The function was concluded by the local music “Boduberu”
Kulhudhuffushi Campus was initially started with 38 students who were enrolled in certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Diploma in Early Childhood Education. However currently there are 92 students enrolled in programmes namely Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Diploma in Human Resource Management, Diploma in Primary Teaching and Bachelors of Education in Early Childhood Education.
The College appreciates the great contribution and hard work of the students, and the Coordinator Mr. Ahmed Faheem for the success of the campus and the wonderfully organized events in celebrating the anniversary.
