After doing my O’ Level, I was looking for the next step to take. In Male’ it was a dilemma. At that moment I came to know about MI College from a friend. After joining the college, I felt that it was more of a family of groomers. I enjoyed every moment of the interaction I had with the amicable teachers and the lively, down to earth peers during the 18 months Diploma course. The support I got from the teachers and the management was commendable and the knowledge I gained was really rewarding. At the end of the course, I had to do an on the job training. It was a project. I did the training in Allied Insurance and I even got a job in the same place. My Advice, ‘I have completed the course and established the start of my career. I hope, you will give it a try at MI College. It is and will be my first choice.’ .
Everything I learned during my ACCP program with Aptech helped me face numerous programming challenges in my career. The course material here is updated as per technology changes and that helps keep students up-to-date on the latest technology trends. MI College faculty was friendly and ensured each student got the personal attention which led to clarity of each and every concept, making us confident and also helping us develop problem-solving skills. I would like to thank the entire MI College team for making a great contribution in successfully shaping my future. .
I never expected a diploma course from Mi College to impact my life and future. Mi College helped me unleash my IT potential, and also the college showed me the right path to success. Looking back, I can see it was extremely important and a stepping stone in my career. It allowed me to develop my interpersonal skills, which are extremely important in my field of work. .
After years of work experience, I thought to get my life back on the right track in career path. I am glad that I found IIPD. I have followed two programs in the Institute (Certificate level III HRM and Diploma HRM). It was amazing!!! Definitely widened my knowledge and skill set. I had a great experience and was involved with many aspects of the Institute. We have formed the Students Association. We have organized different activities for students and gave support to the management to run promotional activities. It was another great learning experience. Full course load and part-time working has taught me to how to manage my time and prioritize, ensuring that the Institute always came first. I love being part of the big team. Without IIPD, I would not have been able to be where I am today. .
I have studied here for almost two years. And without any doubt I could say that was the best two years of my life. I have experienced studying elsewhere in Male’ and also abroad. But one thing is for sure. It never felt like home but studying in IIPD, (known as MI College now) felt more than home, with lecturers as friends and higher management as our parents, who welcome us with an open heart and listen to our problems and help us in any way they possibly can. I do miss those moments even now. The quality times we shared. The unstoppable jokes and laughter. The smiles, the happiness we find on our lecturers’ faces when they teach. And also the little anger when we play tricks on them. It was always educational. No matter what they taught us it always gave us a positive impact on our lives. .
